The SFP1-BIDI-SU module, version B, is designed for building gigabit optical links using a single single-mode fiber. Bidi technology separates transmission and reception using different wavelengths, helping to make efficient use of available optical infrastructure and reduce the number of fibers required.
With a transmission speed of up to 1.25 Gb/s, the module is suitable for connecting switches, routers, media converters, and other devices with a compatible SFP port. The Simplex SC/UPC connector makes it easy to connect to standard optical distribution systems, panels, and telecommunications cabinets. The compact SFP format supports hot-swapping the device.
Important: Bidi modules only work as a complementary pair, A + B. This version B transmits at a wavelength of 1550 nm and receives at 1310 nm. Connecting two modules of the same version will not work.
