The DEPOW portable electric vehicle charger in Mode 2 is a practical solution for everyday electric vehicle charging. Thanks to its single-phase power supply and output of up to 3.7 kW, it can be used at home, at a holiday cottage, or while travelling. The 7 m cable provides greater flexibility when parking and connecting the vehicle to an available socket.
Using the touch button, you can select a current of 6 A, 8 A, 10 A, 13 A, or 16 A. The app enables smooth adjustment within the 6–16 A range, allowing you to easily adapt charging to the capabilities of your electrical installation. Scheduled charging and delayed start are also available, helping you set charging for the desired time. The LED display and three-colour indicator clearly show the power, charging, and potential error status.
Safe operation is supported by a type A 30 mA residual-current device with 6 mA DC protection, PE protective conductor continuity monitoring, voltage monitoring, overload protection, and relay function monitoring. The charger also monitors the temperature of the plug and internal components: at temperatures above 70 °C, it reduces the current to 6 A, and when the temperature exceeds 75 °C, it stops charging. The control unit with IP66 protection is protected against dust and powerful water jets, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
