The self-adhesive electromagnetic strip is attached to the inside of the bumper, so it does not affect its appearance or require drilling holes.
The 220 cm long strip creates a continuous electromagnetic field that detects an obstacle behind the vehicle at an approximate distance of 60–70 cm.
Power supplied from the reversing light activates the sensor only when reverse gear is engaged. The buzzer indicates that an obstacle is approaching by beeping.
This electromagnetic reversing sensor creates a detection field behind the vehicle using a continuous strip. Unlike conventional ultrasonic parking sensors, it does not require holes in the bumper and its continuous strip design helps reduce blind spots.
Apply the strongly adhesive strip to a clean, degreased and flat inner surface of the bumper. The strip can be shortened to the required length and, if necessary, can also be installed on the front or side of the vehicle. After it has been applied, the strip can be removed, but it cannot be reattached.
The system is powered by the reversing light, so it activates only when reversing. When an obstacle is detected, the buzzer provides an audible warning with beeping of variable intensity. Place the control unit in an area protected from water and ensure that the connectors are properly insulated. If you are unsure about the installation, have it carried out by a professional.
