Cleaner for liquid penetrant crack testing 400 ml

Cleaner for liquid penetrant crack testing effectively degreases and cleans metal surfaces before testing welds and pressure castings. It is part of the three-component VMD 137–139 system for accurate detection of cracks, pores and material defects without damaging the surface.

This VMD 137 cleaning product is intended for surface preparation during liquid penetrant inspection. It helps remove grease and impurities so that subsequent testing of welds, metal castings and other metal parts provides reliable results.

For proper operation, all three products from the VMD 137–139 system must be used together:

First, degrease and clean the surface using VMD 137.
Apply a thin layer of VMD 138 penetrant liquid and leave it to act for 15–20 minutes.
Remove the VMD 138 residue using VMD 137 again and allow the surface to dry.
Finally, apply the VMD 139 developer. Red markings appear at defect locations, making them easier to locate.
