The RJ45 modular plug is designed for making and repairing network cables. The pass-through design allows the individual wires to be fed through the connector, making it easy to check the correct wire order and then trim them during crimping.
Use requires special pass-through crimping pliers, which simultaneously cut off the excess part of the wires during crimping. The connector has 8 positions and 8 gold-plated contacts for reliable network connectivity.
