xTool mBot Ranger is an educational robotics kit that funly combines programming, robotics, and the basics of electronics. From one set you can build 3 different configurations (self-balancing robot, racing car, and tracked robot). There are 8 pre-programmed routines for an easy start, and on a single charge it can run for about 2 hours – ideal for home learning as well as classroom teaching.
xTool mBot Ranger is designed so you can get started even without experience: first with block-based programming and later smoothly move on to more advanced creation in the Arduino environment. This way, one kit covers multiple learning levels – from the first steps to more complex projects.
The modular design makes it possible to build and rebuild the robot into three different models and explore different ways of movement. The robot can move on wheels or tracks and is suitable even for more demanding surfaces such as grass or uneven terrain.
