Its wide light field makes it easier to inspect larger areas such as carpets, upholstery, mattresses, floors, or a car interior. The best visibility of fluorescent reactions is achieved in limited ambient light or darkness.
395 nm UV light can highlight selected substances and materials that react with fluorescence. The flashlight serves as an auxiliary tool for checking cleanliness, locating selected organic traces, searching for amber and minerals, and inspecting fluorescent security features on documents or banknotes. However, it does not replace professional equipment for verifying the authenticity of documents or currency, and not all contaminants react to UV light.
The durable aluminum-alloy body is suitable for regular use at home, in the workshop, or outdoors. The IP46 rating helps protect the flashlight when working in various conditions, and the construction is declared resistant to drops from heights of up to 1 m.
