Biointimo warming patches provide pleasant localized heat for relief from menstrual pain, cramps, and lower-abdominal discomfort. They are activated by contact with air, warm up to 40–45 °C in about 10 minutes, and heat for up to 10–12 hours – the patch is applied to the inside of underwear, not directly to the skin.
Biointimo warming patches are specially developed to gently warm the lower-abdominal area and ease unpleasant feelings associated with intimate discomfort in girls and women. They are also useful for other localized pains where heat helps – for example back pain, lower back pain, after surgery, after childbirth, or for colds.
After opening the vacuum packaging, the patch is automatically activated by air. Within the first 10 minutes it reaches the target temperature of 40–45 °C. With single use, relief is usually felt within 30 minutes; with regular use, the effects may be more pronounced.
How to use
- Open (tear off) the perforated part of the vacuum pack.
- Remove the protective white film from the adhesive layer.
- Stick the patch to the inside of underwear, about 2–3 cm below the navel, or to the desired area.
- Do not stick the patch directly to the skin.
Recommended use
- For severe, regularly recurring menstrual pain: it is recommended to start 3 days before menstruation, 1 patch per day for 10–12 hours.
- For relief of postpartum pain: recommended for 15–20 days, 1 patch per day for 10–12 hours.
- Can also be used as a warming pad (e.g., for headache, toothache, joint pain) – the patch can be placed, for example, into a fixation bandage.
Not recommended / warnings
- For repeated and frequent overnight use.
- On irritated skin.
- Use during pregnancy is prohibited.
- After gynecological surgery, use only after full recovery.
- If you have diabetes, blood pressure issues, heart or cardiovascular disease, consult a doctor before use.
- If burning or excessive redness occurs, remove the patch immediately.
- Keep out of reach of children. For external use only.
Safety information
- The adhesive layer of the patch must not come into contact with the skin.
